LEGAL NOTICE OF SCHOOL TAX PAYMENT INFORMATION

          PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I, Noelle Burley, Town Clerk/Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Ogden, have received the tax roll and warrant for collection of school taxes for the Town of Ogden residents in the SPENCERPORT SCHOOL DISTRICT, CHURCHVILLE-CHILI SCHOOL DISTRICT and BROCKPORT SCHOOL DISTRICT, and that I will receive payment of said school taxes at the OGDEN COMMUNITY CENTER, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport, New York, beginning September 1, 2026 from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

 

                               PLEASE TAKE NOTICE OF THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  1. Full Payments – September 1 – October 1, 2026. . . No Interest Due . . .Pay TOTAL AMOUNT of tax bill to Noelle Burley, Receiver of Taxes.

 

  1. Installment Payments – All school districts accept installment payments and may be paid by following these instructions:

 

  1. First Installment – Pay TOTAL amount, including service charge, on stub #1 by September 15, 2026 to Noelle Burley, Receiver of Taxes.

 

  1. September 16 to September 20th – ADD 1% INTEREST TO TOTAL amount including service charge on stub #1 and PAY to Noelle Burley, Receiver of Taxes.

 

  1. Providing the first installment (due date September 15, 2026) has been made properly, installments for due dates October 15, 2026 and November 15, 2026 only are payable to the Monroe County Treasury.

 

  1. If the FIRST INSTALLMENT is NOT paid by September 20, 2026, the installment plan is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.  The full amount of the school tax bill must be paid (See Instruction A above).

 

          NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER NOVEMBER 18

 

School taxes unpaid after that date, plus accrued interest and penalties, will be relevied onto the 2027 Town and County tax bill.

 

  1. CHECKS must be made out CORRECTLY & LEGIBLY.

 

  1. NO third party CHECKS will be accepted. 

   

  1. Persons having checks returned to the Receiver marked INSUFFICIENT FUNDS or for ANY OTHER REASON will be charged an additional $20.00 penalty, payable before the returned check is re-deposited.

 

  1. Our Tax Dropbox will be available for after-hour payments. Payments received through the Tax Dropbox will be processed on the previous business day’s date.
